Hello, Region IV!
Just a quick post to let you know that all of you are in my thought and prayers as we joyfully await Christmas in the final days of Advent. I am so grateful for each you and the gift you are to me, but even more so the gift you are to the youth and young adults of our region! :-) I wish you all a very blessed and peaceful Christmas and look forwarding to working with you more in the coming year.

Our new OYYAM website will be up and running just after the first of the year. More info to come!
I will be sending out the minutes from our first adult planning team meeting. You will want to read these minutes as they contain important information about our region IV ACCY!

Sanctus this Friday night at St. Mary's in Aberdeen
A reminder that this Friday night is the next Sanctus NW. St. Mary Parish in Aberdeen is the hosting parish this month and the time is 7:00 PM. What is Sanctus? Sanctus is a contemporary form of Adoration for high school youth. All in Region IV (South Sound and Southern Deaneries) are welcome to attend.

Region IV Adult Planning Meeting 12/10/09!
If you are an adult working in youth and/or young adult ministry, paid or volunteer, please join us for a planning meeting on December 10, 2009 at St. Francis Mission in Toledo, Washington. We will meet from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm in the parish hall. At this meeting we will get to know one another, discuss what is currently happening in our region for youth and young adults and then do some dreaming and planning for the future. This is the meeting at which we will decide how we want to proceed with ACCY in our region! I will post an agenda for the meeting next week. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to me at frances.farrell@seattlearch.org

Hello Region IV!
Our blog is up and running. While I will continue to send emails to our region, I will also be using this as our primary means of communication. If there is anything going on in our region that you would like posted to the blog, please email it to me and I will be sure it gets posted.
Youth Convention was amazing this year and it was great to see our region so well represented. Also, Dave Whitesell did our region proud with his keynote! :-) Congrats, Dave! We also had two For God and Youth winners and of course, Diakonia awards, etc.
In terms of upcoming events
- our region team of liaisons and leaders are currently working on a date for our first adult meeting. I will post that info as soon as it is decided.
- AREAS meeting is Tuesday, November 17 at Holy Redeemer.
- Sanctus NW will be hosted at St. Mary in Aberdeen on December 4.
I was in Aberdeen yesterday meeting with Fr. Jerry and Fr. Dennis - they are very excited about their upcoming Sanctus and wanted to make sure I extended an invitation to everyone in the region. Let's all come out and make this the biggest one yet and show support for our Grays Harbor parishes!
Have a wonderful weekend and I will see those of you in the Southern Deanery on Tuesday at AREAS.
